Saving Summer

Right before the first storm of the season, I was so said to say good-bye to summer. So I decided to bring my blooms in doors. We made flowers for the dining room table and Madison made one for her room as well. It was the best we could do. Too bad I didn't check their water level everyday. The flowers only lasted a couple of days.

How fun, I probably should have done that with mine. Oh well. I bet your house looks beautiful.

What a nice way to use the last of your blooms before the big freeze out. I read something this morning saying that if you look at fresh flowers first thing in the morning, it improves your mood all day long and helps prevent Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Too bad they get so dang expensive in the winter.
